Fun Day with Fellow Creative Bloggers

This past friday I meet up with 10 other local/semi-local blog girls in Leesburg, VA. (be sure to see links to all their blog's at the end of this post).

I did not take nearly enough photos - too much going on I kept forgetting! Here are 2 - one of Amy by a sheep and Andrea carrying a vintage sewing basket to the register.

What a great time we had. We started out at Lucketts... where we ran into The Graphics Fairy herself - she has a room at Lucketts' that is amazing. And she is so sweet - I hope to keep in touch with her since she lives close to me.

Then we headed to On A Whim - where we had a great time shopping and Sweet Donna, the owner, took a round of photos of us (the one here is from Karla)

After that we headed into Leesburg towards The Cottage (stopping for a quick lemonade and cookie at Lola's first). Ann was at The Cottage and welcomed us with a smile (captured by Karla). I love it there.

We moved on to Leesburg Antique Emporium... Amy showed me a room of old books and paper and I spent the entire time in that one booth - so I need to go back there someday.

Our last shopping stop was at Exter. This is one of my favorite places - the colors of the decor and products are just heaven to me.

By now we had all worked up quite the appetite, so we headed over to Tuskies for dinner and dessert.

I also had a page in my journal ready for each girl to doodle or write in for me. So you get a peek at one journal page spread before my next 'this weeks journaling' post ... Here it is before when only one or two people had signed it...

And here it is now, after I added a corresponding page about the day:

I got so many wonderful handmade treats as gifts - I felt terrible all I brought were some paper relics postcards to share! I had such a wonderful time. And just smiled the whole way home.

Girls - I had a great time - thank you SO very much for including me! I think we need to do it again - (at least) once a year! Thank you Heather for all the planning!
