Finally! I am on the third (and last) signature of this journal - so it is getting pretty bulky!
This was a spread from back in November - I used a shopping bag from an independent book store for my subpage.
Then here is the piece of sewing I showed you recently but added to a page spread.
Here it is with it open:
On the left a I just was playing around - I was making a bus roll like all those vintage ones you see lately (that I love). On the right, another sewn piece I added. I really do not like the colors I used on this side - I almost did not share this spread with you.
Some collaged old papers - scraps that were on my desk - on the left. On the right is my saying for the year - I made a little print with it on it to share with some friends who also have the same saying for the year. I was thinking of making prints to add to my shop - but not sure yet.
So I am back in the groove! I have been doing a lot in my Moleskine too, so will share that soon.
So I thought I would tell you more about my upcoming Journaling class for Artist Class. There will be 3 sections,
1. Journaling Resources and Types where I review the journaling supplies I use and the types of journals that I have played with.
2. A project - we will walk through a fun journal spread with tips on how to get started journaling (the photo above is a sneak peek of what we will be creating)
3. A collage sheet made from images from my personal collection that are needed for the journal spread we make.
Wow. What a crazy few days I have had. This was my second time attending CHA
Thursday and Friday was the retail Craft Supershoe -I was in the Judikins and Queen's Ink booth where my line of stamps were being sold along with the Queen's Ink's other collections and Judikins huge array of crafting supplies.
Jenny Doh and I have always knew about each other, but have never meet, we finally ran into each other (and every day since!). I am really looking forward to her new site, Crescendoh, launching March 1st. I grabbed this photo from her blog
I walked the wholesale show on Sunday with one of my first online friends Leslie (I also got to spend a day with her and her family while I was out there, and had a wonderful time!)
Lisa Guerin came to visit me one night and we pulled two tables together in the bar of my hotel and she gave me a lesson in paper dolls, Dory stopped by for a bit and played with us too - what fun we had!
(the one on the far left is mine)
And for everyone who I ran into that compliments my silhouette vintage wallpaper card case (mine is the one on the left on the photo below) - here is where I got it (I think I found them through Pam Garrison years ago) - I got it from mycutehandbags on etsy (photos are by them):
Later in the week I will post a CHA Eye Candy post with some photos I took while at the show.
