We are in Florida for a few days celebrating my Dad's 80th Birthday with my parents. I will have a journaling post for you when I get home.
In the meantime, here is a photo I took this morning at the beach across the street from their house... it was such a beautiful morning, my mom and I collected some shells as we walked and talked...

Today I met Andrea in Leesburg for lunch with Gabrielle.
What she didn't know was that it was a surprise online baby shower for her! We piled the presents on the table along with some balloons before she arrived and then went to meet her. She was so surprised and so happy! It was a nice day.
Be sure to stop by and see everyone's presents (links below). I made a set of greeting cards just for her that say "Little girls are made of... sugar and spice and everything nice".

The left hand side is a bus roll I made to hang in the house, I had small versions printed as tests and love using them in my journal.
I love this typeface I found via suffix abuse, - I printed the specimen out and used it on a spread.

Just went live with a new blog design for sweet Maija yesterday. What a fun project for me - and I love the background pattern we customized for her.

Hello - a while back (yes, I know it has been a bit since I last posted - apologies!) I mentioned that the Remains of the Day class really made me start to play in my journal a bit more with sewing. So I wanted to share with you some of my recent journal spreads with sewing involved. I have been using a moleskine and it is getting very bulky and stuffed... having fun with it.
