My Three Times the Charm Journaling e-course is wrapping up. I just filmed the last prompt video today, and I wanted to do each prompt for the class in a different journal. The first one was done in a Moleskine, the second in a hand stitched watercolor paper journal, and for this last one, I wanted to use a ringed journal. I did not have a current ringed journal going, so I had to make one, and here is what I came up with.

I actually sewed some old trim onto linen and then adhered it on to the book covers (which are from 7 Gypsies). I also used an old photo frame, image of a woman from an antique fashion magazine, vintage red bordered label and Story sticker by Diane Hanna.

Inside I lined it with old text pages, and for the few pages I added to the journal (more will be added as I create the spreads) I used pages from old glossies that I have been saving.

Up close of the cover - the little tag with string slips out from the kraft envelope.
Here is a sneak peek at the finished class prompt:

I will show you progress as it happens. I also have a couple other things I need to photograph to share, a small journal I made perfect for a souvenir journal and the start of my Sketch Book Project journal, so check back soon!
