I have started a new journal - a ringed journal made from an old book that wasn't for sale at Sweet Elizabeth Jane, but Tammy, the sweet owner, gifted it to me because she is amazing!
Anyway, I have been sharing spreads on instagram and wanted to put them up here for those of you not following along on there. I will do a 'real' photo shoot with the journal soon so you can see the cover and more details, but hopefully this will hold you over.

Above I typed my personal motto on an old book page then lettered a quote I love by Diane Hanna. That reminds me that I need to do a post to show you my new (to me) 1912 Royal typewriter!

Above I love the these ladies (as you are well aware) and this one I made into a page, using some left over words from the Jeanne Oliver (Jeanne rocks!) class I took at Kim's event earlier this year.

Above This is my inside cover - another lady, holding an old photo frame with a photo of me in it, and my name spelled out in vintage anagrams. The fist page is actually an envelope from Anthropolgie. I had ordered from them online and my invoice was in it. The hand is cut from one of my business cards.

Above A page I made using beautiful wallpaper gifted to me by my sweet friend, Karla Nathan - and a turn of phrase I came up with that speaks to me lately.
I also have been enjoying lettering on old photos lately, and these two shown below will most likely make their way into the journal eventually. And speaking of lettering on photos - look for a fun free download for the 4th tomorrow.

Have you been journaling? I have been getting a lot of emails lately asking about journaling - so I wanted to remind you that I have a bunch of fun information in the Tips and Tricks section of this blog, as well as some fun Tutorials as well. Both can be accessed from the side bar.

Ohhhh, I love it Hope!! Absolutely gorgeous, every inch!
Hugs,
Sheila
