This past weekend my husband and I headed to some antique malls about an hour away. We were looking for some specific things for the house but did not find what we were looking for. However, I did manage to find some paper treasures for mere dollars!
The above book was only $2 (and is filled with sheet music) and will make a perfect journal cover.
I am obsessed with vintage envelopes that have windows - harder to find then one might think - but these were great finds. All the papers shown were a few dollars packaged together.
I am never one to turn away an antique fashion magazine, especially for $5!
The above Hatter ad is my favourite image in the magazine - look for it as a free download in the upcoming week.
So even though I did not find what I was hoping for our kitchen, I did walk away very pleased!

Wow, I have paper envy. I have not found a good flea market since we have moved here or an antique store that is reasonable. Sadly, being in this beautiful state and area (and I do mean that, Virginia and the DC area is wonderful), everything in an antique store has been held, touched or in some way connected with a president that has died......sending those dollar signs exploding....... Enjoy your new found treasures.

Hope,
Thanks for sharing. I too have paper envy. Raining here in Houston and just nice to start my day at my desk reading your blog and dreaming of deliciousness.
Best,
