I have always loved the Traveler's Notebooks but never really could get into them for traveling... then it hit me! I take my everyday journal with me most places, and while it isn't actual traveling to exotic lands, it is a journal on the go.
I decided to start using it as an everyday art journal... Here is what I love about it so far
- The size... it is tall and skinny, and I love working smaller rather than larger (refills measure approx 8.5"x4.5")*
- The refills... there are kraft refills, lined refills and blank refills so I can use whichever strikes my fancy at a given moment.
- The set up... you can have multiple refills in the cover at any time. Right now I am using a lined refill as an art journal and a kraft refill for lettering fun/practice.
Here is what I have done so far... (and since starting this post, I actually already have enough new spreads to share in another post soon!)
The above photo shows the notebook closed, and below shows the two inserts I am using:

I have been loving the ad from an 1800's magazine for ages (below, left) - I could not bring myself to cover much of it up...

More to follow! This small size makes it so easy to journal I am filling it up quickly!
