Here are the pages I did for my recent trip to Portland in the 2014 Souvenir Journal I shared with you in the post before last.
I started out with a greeting card I found from Lark Press that had a heart over oregon on a map (above) and then jumped right into journaling the trip on the next spread:
Instagram photos come in handy for travel journals!
I was with some girls I meet up with every year or so, and we covered a lot of ground, so I cut up a lot of the cards and postcards I picked up so I could include them all:

We stayed at the Ace Hotel, and had a lot of fun with their vintage photo booth:
We had some yummy almond champagne in the hotel one night while we stayed up chatting and journaling:
The hotel had some photocopied maps for us to have, so I used one as the background for this spread:
And made our parking pass into a subpage.
