Here is a fun and easy way to letter that I tried my hand at after seeing a coffee sign (in photo below) while dining at the garden cafe that is attached to Terrain.
The sign announced "French Press" so that is what I named the lettering style.
A friend loved seeing me letter like this (you can see where I used it on a recent be.prompted spread HERE and HERE), so I decided to create a little booklet for her so she can learn how to do it...
And of course I thought of all of you, and that you might like to see it so you can play with it as well...
My examples in the book, and these photos, are just how I decided to create an alphabet around the french press letters I saw on the sign - I still play with different alternatives, and you can too!
I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial. I have a few more free tutorials that you can checkout HERE.
If you are interested in how I usually letter, I have a To the Letter e-course available HERE.
