I made the exception for Wendy Addison's Creative Retreat at the Theatre of Dreams - and made the event its own journal rather than add to my 2014 souvenir journal.
On the cover I used a tag I purchased from Wendy's shop (The Theatre of Dreams) - I punched a hole in the cover of my journal (made from an old book) and used a piece of indigo dyed fabric (from one of the classes) to attach it.
All photos in this journal are from my iPhone that I printed at home (using this printer).
We got a lot of fun ephemera in our welcome back that I used throughout the journal.
Kaari Meng taught an indigo dying class, I used a snip of fabric in the journal.
And I wrote underneath it You know I love a good flap!
The food for the entire long weekend was AMAZING.
We had a full day of letterpress instruction and play...
Above and below are the two projects I made that day.
Wendy taught an evening class - making a wax flower crown, it was another great class.
Molly Meng taught her book box class - which I loved. The other half of the day we had a antique paper theatre class....
and a book binding class.
The last page I made a pocket for the schedule, with a reflection photo of me in Wendy's house:
Wendy posted an instagram of all of us - so I had to add that as well:
It was an amazing trip! This journal will always hold a special place in my heart!
